Good morning, lovelies. This morning I am participating in a link-up I just couldn't stay away from. And I'm actually on time for it, too.

Today that sweet pregnant woman, Michelle, from The Vintage Apple is asking does that make me crazy? I've got about a novels worth of things I do that I'm 99.8% certain belong in the "that shit cray" category - I'm an odd ball, I think most of you reading this right now already know that, though.
Shout out to my man Cee Lo for letting me borrow his fabulous pink bird for today's post.
So, crazy. I'm far more Cee Lo crazy than Steven Tyler crazy. Not that I can't be Steven Tyler crazy... but Cee Lo speaks to me with those tiny T-Rex hands of his.
Does it make me crazy that I have some sort of OCD-mental-block against finishing the last of things? It quite honestly pains me to use the last bit of shampoo or conditioner. I currently have about near-empty bottles of face moisturizer that I can not get myself to finish.
Does it make me crazy that I once heard if you squeeze the skin in-between your thumb and pointer finger when you have a headache, it will make the headache go away, and I completely believe it? Every time I have a headache I do the skin squeeze and I'm pretty sure nothing happens. Yep, I continue believing it though.
Does it make me crazy that the volume on the tv or radio has to be on an even number? Same with my alarm clock settings.. 7:32, 6:14... no odd numbers. I wish I could explain why but we'll just go with it's because they're evil. That's normal, right?
Does it make me crazy that I sleep with a blanket under my head? On top of the pillow, slightly wrapped around my head, without covering my face. Sometimes I put a little over my eyes to block out the light but I can't sleep without my blanket/pillow.
Does it make me crazy that I refuse to answer the phone if it's a number I don't know? I just won't. I don't want your free trip. Or to tell you that my name is not Carl.
And that's just to name a few.

I'm with ya on the even number thing. My alarm has to be set on an even number or I can't fall asleep. CRAY.
ReplyDeleteGirl I totally put a blanket over my eyes too so I can block out the light. It's really weird though, because I actually have an eye mask that I could wear instead. Maybe it's because I need to not feel restricted when I sleep lol.

ReplyDeleteSo two things. I completely agree that Cee Lo has T-Rex hands! Does it make me crazy that it freaks me out a little to the point where I have to look away? AND the even number thing... I totally agree. Thank GOD the volume in my car doesn't have numbers...except for it does have lines and they have to be even. I'm crazy...

ReplyDeleteI do the in-between squeeze for headaches too! And I'm all about even numbers. It pains me that 2013 might hold a significant event because I hate odd-numbered anniversaries. Aaaaand I never ever finish anything. I prefer just replacing stuff before it runs out, but I can't explain why.

This guy from Lifetime Fitness calls me everyday to talk to me about a membership and now I don't answer so he literally calls everyday and I don't pick up bc he says the same thing and I already told him NO. One day I'm going to snap and tell him to stop calling haha. Does it make me crazy that I have a fear that you will meet Gavin and ya'll will fall in love and get married? Yes, it does.. but whatevs.
ReplyDeleteMy radio and tv volume have to be on even numbers. However, if I set my alarm, I set it for 6:01. If I hit snooze, which is 9 minutes, then it'll be 6:10. AN EVEN NUMBER! That shit cray.

I can relate to not finishing the last of things, except my quirk is with food. I refuse to eat the end of the French fry, finish the last sips of a drink, etc.

I know I'm 50 Shades of Cray sometimes. The phone thing that's not cray. I have personalized tones for the people I talk to the most. Certain tones for people I don't wanna talk to. So if I hear Hawaii Five-O theme I check and if there's no name attached you go to voicemail.

My boyfriend can only have the volume on even numbers too! At first I thought he was nuts, but now I'm just used to it! We all have our quirks! LOL.
