Jacked To Jesus

Looky here, I'm blogging and stuff. At 4pm, because that's how organized and on top of things I am today. You're welcome, Monday.

A Friday evening dog walk is never complete without a cocktail in hand.

Let's do a quick Sami-style Monday post because everyone likes a quicky, right? Heyyo.

1. I got my hairz did on Friday after work. My roots were beyond offensive and serious action had to be taken.

2. Like I told you all on Friday, I was hungover as fackkk and had zero intentions of having the inevitable glass of wine my hair stylist always tries to feed me. But then I gave in... and had two glasses. Because I'm a glutton for punishment, obviously.

3. Homie gave me some serious Texas hair. I had to race home and tame that beast real fast, it was too much for this Florida gal. Power to you Texans, I sure did feel closer to Jesus for about 30 minutes there.

4. Friday night I was kind of, sort of, awesomely on point in darts. Not to brag or anything. Or actually to brag a lot. Whatevs.

5. Saturday morning was a Gatorade recovery mode kind of morning. Had to get some relaxation and electrolytes in before my Noles played at 3:30.

6. And then I watched my Noles, who had me about to pee my pants a few times but managed to make it out on top. Hallelujer.

7. I chose vodka as my drink of choice Saturday. It was weird and I'm not really sure why I went down that path but I wouldn't mind visiting again.

8. We had some of the best wing in the whole world. Not even joking, I wanted to bathe myself in the garlicy, medium sauce. Omnomnom.

9. Text I got from one of my friends yesterday. My friends just get me, what can I say?

Now let's fast forward through the rest of this work day and kick another Monday right outta here.

I once went to a fancy place that served wine while I chopped off all my hair. I was so nervous I had to have two glasses before she even started. And then we had a shot right before. That's how you know it's a good salon.

I wish my hairdresser gave me wine! Mine just gives water or coffee. Ah vodka an old friend I recently discovered fireball (a new friend) is super good in sprite just saying (I love that it tastes like cinnamon hearts). and jealous of that weather I just had to switch to leggings with dresses...too cold!

I'm definitely ready for Monday to be over, too! Also, I like your hair closer to Jesus! It doesn't look anything like Jersey Shore style, and that is a very important distinction. Although, it doesn't matter because your hair looks good all the time anyway.

I'm kind of digging the Texas Whitney. Or should I say, Whitnay y'all.

I need to find a hair dresser that gives me wine - I don't think there are any that do that in my town ha ha!

Now I'm just sad that my hair dresser doesn't give me wine. I had my awful roots taken care of on Friday too and I swear I felt like I was giving a gift to the world because I looked like a straggley gross mess. Oh and p.s. you look like an adorable little boho fashionista in the first picture!

I should have been there for all of this. The hangover, the darts, the Gatorade poolside, the football at the bar, the wings. I'm a sad unicorn over here now. Why do we not live in the same state. WHY?!

Honestly? I'm lovin the big Texas hair, but I'm a tried a true Texas Girl " The higher the heels ,the higher the hair, the closer to God" I am super jealous that you get wine at your hair appointments. I guess I could bring my own next time, I mean that's why they invented Tervis Tumblers right?

I wish my hair salon offered wine! But then again, maybe it's a good thing they don't because I'd probably pass out when the shampoo and scalp massage rolled around.
