Raise your hand if you really thought I was never coming back today? Whoops. This late post is a total coincidence Or maybe I just know myself a little too well...
I am a creature of habit in every way, shape, and form, which I learned many of you are from all of your Facts of Me linkups. We're all a bunch of habitual freaks and I'm totally content with that.
Currently I'm sitting here chowing down on some Chick-n-Minis from Chickfila and sipping on an iced coffee made me yours truly, moi. Throw in some casual blog reading, Instagram roaming, stalking tweets from the wee hours of the night and you've got my typical morning routine. So, the Chickfila part might not actually be every morning, I think we've established that I'm a self proclaimed budget diva, but if I could squeeze it in there every morning (which would probably cause me to no long be able to squeeze in my pants... yoga or any other type) I'd do it.
Get to the point already, right? Well, I don't know that I really have a point. I just, kind of, wanted to make a list of the current things I can't seem to shake.
As I mentioned, I can't get enough of Chickfila's Chick-n-Minis. Why are they so delicious? I simply can't explain. All I can tell you is that they are the greatest $2.40 I can spend in one day.

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you already know this one. Bagel Bites. Can't. Get. Enough. I don't know what it is about them. Maybe it's that you when pizza's on a bagel you can have pizza anytime? Maybe it's the delightful crispy crunch from cooking them (properly) in the oven? Either way, they are my vice. I may need rehab eventually.
One of my sweet Twit friends turned me onto Folgers' Vanilla Biscotti K-cups and I'm never looking back. Ever. I've found myself brewing these sweet pods of joy at the most random times. Always over ice though. Because I'm Floridian and hot anything almost never sounds appealing.
Unless it's fresh Bagel Bites out of the oven, of course.
I've been brewing this coffee over ice, mixing with 1 Splenda and some flavored creamer. DELISH.
Slow your roll, Whitty. All you have to talk about right now is food and beverage addictions?
(woah, did I just talk to myself?)
Let's talk about how I can't get over how Biolage makes my hair smell like a fresh garden in heaven. I've been using this for a few weeks now and I'm already hesitant of running out (because I'm crazy and hate finishing products, you know). I don't know why or how, but I wouldn't mind bathing in this stuff.
Turns out, I'm also capable of obsessing over things that I want.
Enter: Tervis Water Bottle.
I am pining for these more than I pined for shaving my legs for the first time (I can't be the only one who was excited about that?). The budget diva inside of me continues to tell me that they are too expensive but I find myself browsing any and every online store that sells Tervis, waiting for the deal of a lifetime to strike me.
Really though, it pains me how much I am dying for one of these babies.
Lastly, my Erin Condren Planner that helps me plan out all of my blog posts and countless meetings.
NOT!
How many of you knew this one was a big fat lie?
Considering it's 11:30 and I've yet to post for the day, I think we all know my 2013 Erin Condren planner is currently collecting dust on my desk at home. I should have spent those doll hairz on a damn Tervis water bottle.
And that's all I've got for you today. I really should try and get addicted to the EC planner thing so I can avoid these awkwardly thrown together posts, huh?
See ya!

Thanks for showing Chick Fil A (or as I called it growing up, chicka-filah) now Im craving it...BAD!
ReplyDeletelol I had a feeling that last one was a lie. I got the EC planner last year but decided it was too big/bulky for me so I switched to Target's $9.99 amazefest planners. Why haven't I seen the tervis waterbottle? you might see me with one soon. :)) and the iced coffee..need to try that k cup!!
ReplyDeleteI want you to know that I've been in love with Vanilla Biscotti since the last bar go around. That, and Folger's Caramel Drizzle. It's amazinggg
ReplyDeleteOK no i didn't let my brain think that you're not coming back because that's not fun and i don't like things that aren't fun.
ReplyDeleteeach and every time you mention your chicken mini obsession i'm reminded that i don't have access to those delicious nuggets of goodness and i almost tailspin into a depression. but then i just knock back a cocktail and i'm good.
You so fancy. Bagel Bites used to be my most favorite afternoon snack (you know, when we all had metabolisms of a small child). I don't think I've ever put them in the oven. I can only imagine how much better they are that way. Well done, friend. Well. Done.
ReplyDeletegahh Whitney, I'm sitting in class right now and seeing those chicken minis just made me so hungry!! Bed Bath & Beyond sells Tervis & you can usually get 20% off coupons from inside magazines or if you sign up for their mailing list (I think?). One thing about Tervis water bottles is the lid is kiinda hard to open and it also has a wide opening & if you're not careful, water will end up ALL over you (speaking from experience here!). Camelbak bottles are my favorites plus they come with a straw/bite valve thingy that's just really fun. Def look at those!!
ReplyDeleteK-cups are the best invention, period. I am a self-professed coffee snob (worked at a Starbucks for 4 years, bam!) and I was all "I'm not drinking anything out of that stupid Keurig machine!" and now I brew several cups of coffee or tea a day.
ReplyDeleteI can totally identify with the planner thing. Although with school and my wonky work schedule, I have been using my planner (it's MASSIVE but wonderful!) actively...although some days I am tempted to leave it at home, then I remember my brains are in there! (Not literally...that would be gross...and squishy).
Have a great day, Whit!

i would say it's the buttery yeast roll bread that makes the minis delicious, but it's cfa so the chicken is amazeballs too.
ReplyDeleteI totally DREAMED about shaving my legs for the first time. I begged my mom for weeks before she finally handed me that glorious one bladed disposable razor.
ReplyDeleteI love Biolage shampoo! Santa always bring me a ton in my stocking so it lasts throughout the year. :)
ReplyDeleteI may or may not have just scarfed down mini's for breakfast and then when it came time for(my early) lunch realized I wanted...an 8 piece nugget(actually, I wanted a 12 piece, but I somehow got a hold of myself) it's their fault, those nuggets are delicious little beasts. and I have an a list card and they keep sending me free food coupons. Who am I to not use them?
ReplyDeleteMy Tervis is awesome - well worth the money. If you use a bed bath & beyond 20% off coupon, they're pretty reasonable. I talked about mine for weeks after I got it. It keeps water cold all day & vodka cold all night.
ReplyDeleteChick fil a is my go-to! love it so much!
ReplyDeleteThis post totally taught me that I need some more chickflia....stat! And that Tervis water bottle looks amazing! Let me know if you see an awesome deal on one!
ReplyDeleteYou are ruining everything - I am on a spending freeze and you've revived my Tervis obsession. And my buttocks are ample and you've ignited a bagel bites fire in my belly. Damnit.
ReplyDeleteI had Chickfila minis this morning and they were epically amazing (as always). They totally always hit the spot.
ReplyDeleteGet yourself that Tervis. It's a fact that everything tastes better in a Tervis.
ReplyDeleteI also have a planner...that is slowly getting acquainted with me. But I'm not cool enough for an EC one. Lucky lady!
ReplyDeleteI love all things Tervis! I can't believe I didn't know about this water bottle! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteTervis just stepped their game up with that water bottle there. Might have to get this little lady one! And girl- bagel bites remind me of sleepovers in elementary school and/or drunken college nights resulting in binge pizza eating.
ReplyDeleteAre you positive I didn't write this post? I fulfilled my chicken mini's addiction yesterday...cause that was the ONLY thing that made me happy on a Monday. There's a 98% chance that I'm eating Bagel Bites while Jason is in class tonight. OH, and I received three boxes of those k-cups for Christmas. Today though? I was too lazy to make it so I walked across the busy street to Starbucks.
ReplyDeleteI love my Erin Condren planner! I've put pics in my blog recently of it and it's FULL. Of course I use colored pens and markers and highlighters and stupid kid stickers to make it more fun and to mask the reality that is my life. Would you shank me if I told you we don't have Chik-Fil-A's here and I've never eaten at one or seen one (except on your blog spank you very much)? It's amazing the shit we don't have in Podunk, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteSo. im a Biolage freak too. But my hair got 'used' to it so I had to go get something new to switch it up a bit. Tried the Sally Beauty Supply version of that Wen crap for the first time last night. HOLY.SHIT. Granted, only one day, but my hair felt badass today. I have curly/wavy hair naturaly and it looks like shit if I dont put half a ton of styling stuff in it. washed it with this fake Wen, blow dried upside down with a difuser. BEAUTIFUL! No other products. so. try it if you ever want something different. so far so good. worth the money. i can keep you posted as i use it. lol
ReplyDeleteThere you go, taunting me with the minis again...
ReplyDeleteThat exact tumblr is sitting next to me in my bag right now! I just got it last week but it's ammmaazzing! Keeps my cold drinks cold without melting all the ice
ReplyDeleteI used to use Biolage and I remember loving the smell of it!
ReplyDeleteChick-Fil-A is so darn good...thanks for making me crave it now!
We don't have chikfila in Canada... but it looks delicious, and damn you for making me want something that I CAN'T have. Rude.
ReplyDeleteAlso, that bottle looks fancy-schmancy. I like it.
Annnnnnnd I bought an EC planner last year, and I loved it - but by September/October it stopped being used and started collecting dust. A lot of dust. Oopsy. I'll most likely still buy a 2013 one anyway haha
Gahh, Chikfila is addicting. Seriously, I can't get enough of it. Don't even get me started on their lemonadeeee!!
ReplyDeleteMy EC planner is practically joined at the hip with me, you should write in yours! My husband totally made fun of me last night as he caught me backtracking and writing something down that happened 3 days ago. Whatevs ;)
I'm glad I wasn't the only one counting the days to my twelfth birthday so I could fiiiinally shave my legs. Instead of a regular ol' razor I was gifted with an electric one. Needless to say I was one pissed off pre-teen.
ReplyDeleteOh and if you love the vanilla biscotti, try the folgers caramel drizzle!
Bagel bites and CHickn Minis! Lets make a day of it!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the sweet and savory perfection of a box of chicken minis. MMMMMM. I used to love bagel bites, but I had one too many while I was in college and perhaps a little inebriated. They bring back memories that I don't want to remember! I may just have to try that shampoo and conditioner! I'm a product slore! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOooh! I want a planner like that! :) I have yet to try my Vanilla biscotti sample from Folgers. Maybe this weekend :)
ReplyDeletexo,
janmloves.blogspot.com
i just bought a new planner (not as expensive as an e.c. one but close enough) and now i'm wondering if i will even use it (it's on it's way) or if i shoulda spent that money on (another) a new pair of shoes..we'll see.
ReplyDeleteI totally understand how terrible the idea of spending so much on a water bottle is, but I'm a Florida girl as well, and let me tell you, this thing goes EVERYWHERE with me! It's the best thing, and it really doesn't leak which is definitely nice! You'll love it when you finally get it!
ReplyDeleteHave a good week!
Kimberly
http://kimberlyycharlotte.blogspot.com/
how about my walmart planner? it has grease stains from Chick-n-Minis.
ReplyDeleteI haven't used Biolage in a while, but I love the way my hair smells when I do!
ReplyDeleteNow I want Bagel Bites. I used to eat the top part off and then dip the bagel part in Ketchup..gross, huh? Don't judge me -- I was a chubby 7th grader.
ReplyDeleteI spent money on an Erin Condren, too. I love it. It's so pretty. But it's too damn big to take everywhere with me. It's currently collecting dust on my desk at work.
You're ahh-mazing, btw. Thank you for making me laugh every single day. xo
I love chick-n-minis...unfortunately the closest chick- fil- a is 30 minutes away :(
ReplyDeleteI use my cheap planner constantly...do you think EC is worth the investment?
1. i love bagel bites too. 2. that water bottle looks fancy and awesome and i don't need it and i totally want it. 3. i also need that planner that i'll probably never use because i'm a disorganized mess. gimme!
ReplyDelete-- jackiejade.blogspot.com
Did you know that I've never had Chik-fil-a? We don't have one here. :( I know. It's pretty not ok. I plan to remedy it as soon as I get to a town that has some! HAHA
ReplyDeleteAlso was super excited about shaving my legs. Who knew my mother was right, that I'd come to hate it? Blah.
ReplyDeleteAlso, wish I could get excited about the bajillion dollar Erin Condren planner. Big large paper weight is what that thing is.
Annnndddd I also love Biolage. I tried to save a few doll hairs this last time and bought Suave Kerastase knock off. Well. It is crap. Should have spent the big ones on the Biolage so my hair would smell like a garden of heaven.
You make me sad that I have never been to a Chik-fil-a.. I don't think we have any anywhere near where I live!
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting an Eric Condren planner for like a year now.. and am having the hardest time convincing myself to spend the money and get one. Ugh.
Damn you! I've been so good at resisting Bagel Bites and now I want some! And I, too, use Biologe!
ReplyDeleteChik-fil-a. I'm going to have to force myself to wake up early tomorrow so I can grab some before work all because you mentioned them. I'm a firm beleiver in you want what you can't have and right now I want chickin mini's because I can't have them (considering I am always late to work...)
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming back :)
I don't even REMEMBER shaving my legs for the first time, how is that even possible?! Chick fil a - yummmm.
ReplyDeleteI had Chik-Fil-A yesterday morning. Copycat. And I would eat Biolage if I were not concerned about staying alive. But sometimes I buy the Publix brand. Smells the same. For $11. Budget bitchhhh
ReplyDeleteI'm obsessed with Biolage!! I highly recommend the conditioning balm. LOVE
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see someone that will admit that the Erin whatever planner doesn't change your life like some of these bloggers swear by. That thing is ALL over blogland, but I have never been tempted to buy one. It would be just as successful at keeping me organized as the $10 planner from Target. Go strong for a couple months than nothing!
I buy new planner pages every single year and every single year they go virtually untouched. This year I decided that instead of getting a page-a-day planner I'd go with a two-pages-per-week one. I still haven't written anything in there. Good to know I'm not alone!
ReplyDeleteTervis has a lifetime warranty. So if that sucker ever fails, you call them they replace it with the exact same thing or a new "model"
ReplyDeleteBuy it. Promise it's awesome.
Ugh. You have no idea how much I wish I wouldn't have bought the EC planner. I used it diligently for about one day.
ReplyDeleteNow I need some damn bagel bites!
ReplyDeleteHow is it that you are so damn skinny but are able to eat those delicious items so frequently?
ReplyDeleteAlso, I do not have a tervis water bottle, but I do have the tumbler and the lid (I got it at bed bath and beyond for $18 and used a 20% off coupon) and it has seriously been the best money spent. I fill it up with a ton of ice (like more ice than water) in the morning, and I keep refilling it throughout the day. I still have ice in it by noon! I swear I drink more water now than I ever had. So get it. I, however, refuse to jump on the EC bandwagon. Google calendar is where it's at!
I love the way you write! So fun anyways I'm glad your back! I also love my Lauren Condren planner what would we do without them or coffee?
ReplyDeleteXo
A
I LOVE my EC planner. Unfortunately, I plan things in it and then still never do them. So basically isn't now the book of lost dreams.
ReplyDeleteMy MIL keeps me well stocked in Tervies with lids and I love them!
ReplyDeleteI contemplated the EC planner for a LOOONG time but it just seems so huge to me I didn't know if I wanted to carry that mother around all the time.
The Tervis water bottle is WORTH IT. I'm obbsessed with mine. Will you judge me if I say I feel like I look cooler drinking water when it's out of my Tervis...? It's also GREAT for roadies (when I'm the passenger, of course).
ReplyDeleteUGH I'm so jealous. The closest Chick-Fil-A to Boston is about 45 minutes away. AND, did you know I had never tried it until 4 or so years ago when I went to Florida? That's right, WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY UP HERE!! And just so you know I also kept pronouncing it (Chick-Fill-a). Took me a while. Thank you, blonde hair.
ReplyDeleteOk, that just looks like chick fil a, prounounced the right away. I meant, Chick-fill-ahhhhh.
ReplyDeleteI've seen those planners all around and can't imagine dropping that kind of money on a planner. I bought a $20 and it's collecting dust, as I thought but swore I wasnt going to before I bought it! Ha. I had big dreams ... Or at least thought my life was more interesting. Maybe I stopped using it because I realized it wasn't!
ReplyDeleteYah..... so happy you liked the coffee! i seriously can't have any other kind out of that precious keurig!
ReplyDeleteI am obsessed with bagel bites. now i want them. thanks.
ReplyDeleteanddd i'm really not sure i could survive without my tervis. how do people drink anything without it? impossibleeee!
Please tell me when the water bottles go on sale, cause I'm pining right there with you. Hubs keeps saying that we own at least 40 tumblers and I don't NEED a water bottle one too...but I do.
ReplyDeletealso, I had to refrain from loading up on "on sale" bagel bites at Tar-jay this morning. now I'm sad.
I was SO excited for my EC planner when I got it...and I used it for like a week. Now that $70 piece of beauty sits on my desk doing f all. oops.
ReplyDeleteps, #shouldaboughtatervis
DeleteWe do NOT have a ChickFilA here. How sad is that ;(.
ReplyDeleteRamblings of a Suburban Mom
My tervis water bottle is my most favorite thing ever, especially since I just monogrammed the hell out of it. Just doooo it! You will love it.
ReplyDeleteAnd I just bought an EC planner as well and I'm trying to love it. It may be too small though... the jury's still out on that one.
I'm a new follower! I should have started following you long ago... anyone named Whitney is obviously amazing...
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. Chicken Minis are probably the best things ever.
Funny that you mention the EC planner, I got my first one ever in the mail today. Not too fond of the inside of it, but I'm sure I'll come to love it. (Maybe?)
Several comments ...
ReplyDelete1. chicken minis are the single handed BEST thing on the face of the planet, I could eat 50 of them and not bat an eye. obsessed.
2. my EC planner is amazing I wanted so so so hard to really use it, however I still find myself looking for it and then writing stuff in there that happened two weeks ago bc I forget to actually write it in before it occurs, and then feel like I will go ahead and write it anyway to make me not feel like such a slacker ha.
3. I need a Tervis water bottle stat!
That's it! Xo :)
I love how honest your posts are and that you are not taking uber seriously as it seems some may. Digging it. You are a funny gal.

We don't have Chik Fil A (how the eff do you spell it, is that even right?) because the company believes the whole entire city of Las Vegas is too sinful for their delicious chicken-y concoctions. Con-COCK-tions - take that Chickfilay (or whatever!) It makes me sad. Enjoy it I guesssssssss
ReplyDeleteTervis had water bottles? BA my friend.
ReplyDeleteYou and those damn Bagel Bites, everytime you mention them, I feel the urge to run to the store to get them. Damn you and those pasta loving bagels..lol :)
ReplyDeleteI love Bagel Bites so much, and now all I want to do is go to the store to get some.
ReplyDeleteTervis tumbler anything is my favorite. Get it at Bed Bath and Beyond with one of their 20% off coupons!
Maybe a little intervention is needed to pry you away from your beloved Bagel Bites? I've been watching seasons of How I Met Your Mother, and think random interventions (needed or otherwise) are the latest fad. Ha! Shaving your legs for the first time! I totally made my friends have a contest at a birthday slumber party to see who had the smoothest legs - oh, I won!
ReplyDeleteNever heard of Bagel Bites don't think we have them down under, they do look nice though.............and I love chicken and mayo burgers as long as it is made with real chicken and not something that is called chicken but has no taste to it..........
ReplyDeleteI love Biolage! I've used it many times over the past few years and it smells AMAZING! Where do you buy yours? I found the cheapest place to pick it up are those hair salons inside Wal-Mart. When they have their sales, you can buy two enormous bottles for $30 for both, which is a steal considering the smaller bottles run for $15+ apiece!
ReplyDeleteBagel Bites are my savior on many work nights when I'm too tired to cook for my kids. I love them, too! I had them all the time growing up. :)
I feel like we can't truly be BFF's because I haven't had Chikn Minis. I'll fix that this weekend. Also, lets get matching BFF water bottles hahahah
ReplyDeleteI begged for months to be able to shave my legs. Finally after ages of trying to lotion down my leg hair for gym class, my Mom gave permission for me to Nair my legs. Apparently she was afraid I would cut myself with the razor?? Heaven forbid!
ReplyDeleteI live only 30 minutes from the tervis factory :) They offer tours and I've always wanted to go on one. I'm always annoyed when I order cups from them and they inform me I can't just pick them up since I'm guessing it would be faster and cheaper then mail. I'm just trying to help!
ReplyDelete
