I Found Heaven

Finally, it's Friday. I'm trying to avoid letting you all know that I have the day off but, well, I have the day off and I'm 100% positive that I'll be sleeping by the time this post actually goes live. That's right, I scheduled a post... I do that in the name of #backthatazzup sometimes. (insert shocked face)

So, anywhoodles, I wasn't sure what to write about today. It's been a pretty great week and sometimes those are the kind of weeks when I just can't find the right way to gracefully bow out. Do I just conclude the great things that happened this week? Do I talk about the nonsense gossip I read about Miley yesterday? Do I begin trying to explain the random occurrences that happened just on Tuesday? I really don't know.
I guess I'll just go ahead and tell you guys about my most exciting news of the week (aside from my new, strange addiction to buying gently used DVDs)... I found my most favorite candy in the entire world and it's right here in town. The last time I ate this candy I found there was in Germany, which was back in 2007. They're called Happy Hippos, by Kinder, and they are legitimately the greatest candy I've ever had. I'm THIS close to running back to the store I found them at and clearing their stock. Not even kidding, it's probably going to happen.

Aside from that utmost exciting news for you, my plans for the weekend include a pedicure (nail trim) for sir... and that's about it. Don't all jump at once for a first row seat on this ride.

So, with that, I think I'll leave you with this little diddy... Which I plan to put on repeat as soon as 12 pm today hits because, not only is it 5 o'clock somewhere, this girl is finally allowed to drink again.  Amen!

It's #backthatazzup Friday!

The purpose: To start our weekend with some fantastic jams.
The station that inspired it: "Back That Azz Up" on Pandora Radio.
The rules: Link your jams up and have a jam sesh with all of us!

Click here for a tutorial on how to embed a song in your post.

Happy Friday!
Grab a button, pick your jam, link up and let's get this weekend started off on the right foot!

  5. It's OK, I get overly excited when my dogs get groomed because it means they smell nice for at least 4 days. Now go treat yourself to a glass... bottle of wine. Happy Friday.

  13. I used to LOVE the Kinder eggs with the little prize inside. They were so fun and the only thing that resembled chocolate that I would eat. I need to get my hands on some of those hippos!

  16. Happy Hippos?! That could possibly be the cutest thing ever. I just had my dog's nails cut last week. I wish I could do them myself, but I'm just too afraid. I have no plans this weekend either, which after the last two months of craziness is an absolute blessing. I hope you had a great day off and have a wonderful weekend!
